Before you start: DIY terms & warnings

Installation is different from everyday pickup swapping. Preparing pickups or fitting the system requires appropriate tools and experience. We recommend professional installation; if you are unsure, stop and consult a qualified guitar technician.

Permanent modifications: preparation can require cutting pickup wires and removing baseplate legs. Some pickups may require further alterations. Guitar installation may require routing and wiring. These changes can be irreversible and may void warranties.
Risk of damage: incorrect soldering, wiring, routing or assembly can permanently damage your pickups, guitar or other equipment. Check compatibility and read the complete instructions before starting.
