Can I make my own Guitar-X pickups?

The Guitar-X system fits perfectly on the vast majority of humbucker-sized pickups, whether configured as humbuckers, P90s, or single coils. Once mounted on any compatible pickup, it will snap seamlessly into any instrument equipped with Guitar-X's system. You just need the backplates, and a bit of soldering skill.
